Celestial Star Rabbit Stud

Breeders & Exhibitors

Breeders & Exhibitors of Swiss Fox, Dutch & Dwarf Lops

Celestial Star Rabbit Stud aim to breed quality show and pet rabbits, with care and consideration for the rabbit’s well-being. All of our rabbits are handled from a young age and are looked after to the best of our ability. We have only been breeding rabbits for 3 years, so we can only offer you as much information as we have, though we can refer you to other breeders that would be more than happy to help you with any query we cannot answer.

From time to time we will have kittens or adult rabbits for sale to pet, show or breeding homes. We only sell rung/pedigreed animals to members of a club. Each purchased pet animal will come with a care booklet, breed information sheet, lice & mite treated, wormed, cocci treated, transitional feed and a small bag of hay.

Within the first week of ownership you realize that a bunny isn't for you we encourage you to contact us and we will either keep the bunny (if room allows) or help re-home the bunny. You must realize though, that there is a NO REFUND POLICY -unless the bunny dies within 1 week of purchase, if you want to claim a refund you will need to provide evidence from a vet (that can be contacted) to prove the rabbit had either a genetic default or a fatal disease with proof that the rabbit acquired such an illness from our rabbitry. Upon returning the rabbit, you do so with the understanding that you will NOT recieve a refund.

Prices:
Pets range from $50 - $70
Breeding and show stock START FROM $80 onwards, depending on the quality and colour of the rabbit.

A 50% non- refundable deposit is required to hold your desired kit (negotiable depending on circumstances) and no deposits will be taken before the rabbit reaches 6 weeks of age to better establish the sex, health and quality of the rabbits. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE unless the bunny dies in our care.

On the day of picking up your bunny you will be shown how to groom and cut the bunny's nails. You must understand that long haired breeds require regular grooming in specific ways to eliminate the chances of matting and knotting fur. You will need to purchase a suitable comb for your animal, in some cases we may be able to purchase the comb for you and you can pay us upon pick up. We will tell you what combs we recommend for your bunny.

We offer lifetime support for you and your bunny, if ever you feel the need to call due to uncertainties or questions about behaviour feel free to contact us.
